It seems that Google will do a spree to change its web browser to portal to other products and services. Whether the campaign will struggle competitors’ and fur regulators still have to be seen, but it seems that no one stops Google from its encouragement. Most of these new and upcoming features range in the search results and new tab pages, the last is to get a new module that will bring up your Google photos every time you think of opening a new browser tab.

The browser must have come a long way, not only in terms of functionality but also in the user interface. No longer limited to one page per window, the UIS tab has opened the door for more experience, some of which are controversial. Exceeding mere blank canvas, the new tab page has become a kind of land staging for links to websites, other services, or even advertisements.

Chrome New Tab Page is now home for some “modules,” almost all that binds Google products. The most prominent is finding, potentially potentially interesting based on your search and preferences (which Google is known). Google recently looks integrating Google drive to that part too.

According to Chrome Story, the latest to join the page will be a Google photo “Memories,” part of Google’s cloud photo services that compose and set photos according to the event and date. After being activated by the user, they will be able to see new memories when they come, save their time from having to check Google photos regularly or wait for notification. Like Google Drive integration, this feature is hidden under the flag on the Chrome version of Canary.

This feature can be great for Google heavy photo users who might have used Chrome. It is easily sitting on the page you might most see when using Chrome. That said, it also shows Google’s intention to have a browser to the gate to its service, even when the regulator and rivals try to divorce chrome from all Google land.
