Paula Deen, cook, restaurant owner, author and host of several series of food networks built a media empire that starts slowly to collapse. The beautiful south built his career on his tasty recipes and his warm personality. Born in 1947 Paula Ann Hiers Deen has two sons Jamie and Bobby who created a catering company.

She grew up in a southern baptist household. His two parents died before being 23 years old. After a series of bad marriages that began when she was still a teenager, paula uprooted by Albany Georgia and started living in Savannah. After the success of his sandwich catering activity, the lady of bag, she opened several restaurants throughout the city. With critical praise and press opportunities classifying her dishes as part of the best, she then pushed other southern states, including North Carolina.

It was presented to Gordon Elliott who was a personality and a television producer. Paula was presented in several series of food networks before landing his own “home cuisine of Paula” which was created in 2002. Since then, she has released more than 14 cookbooks and a biography and appeared on Oprah .

Thursday, target said it would cease its products. Home Depot announced that it had stopped selling Deen’s cooking and cookware. And the Diabetes Drug Company Novo Nordisk suspended its relationship with Deen. Several others, including Walmart and the food network, have also called it lately in recent days.
